Individuals are required to provide potential employers with access to their medical records as part of their job application. Once granted access, employers can review an individual’s record through MEDIKEY’s secure platform, to assess their suitability for employment. Employers will not retain access to the employee’s records, but prospective employee’s files will include a certification that the employee is a MEDIKEY member. This certification will include a current heath examination conducted and approved at time of employment.

There are a number of options for employers to analyse their candidate’s data like statistics on health conditions and the ability to filter candidates by gender, age, demographics, as well as a number of other categories. This level of analysis is made possible through our storage of employee’s current medical information, which is then provided to employers in real-time. Access to highly accurate information allows employers to make informed and efficient decisions on prospective employers.

• MEDIKEY provides its employee users with a username and password, in order for them to check their own records, before they are sent to a potential employer. An employee’s records can also be sent directly to an employer for a fee, with the consent of the employee.
• All medical screening and examination records are date protected. Records cannot be sent directly to the employer without the consent or permission of the employee.
